COVID 19

Published on 3/19/2020
Dear New England Chapter Members & Our Valued Regional Stakeholders

Given the current reality of the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus, the New England Chapter of DHI is suspending all group activities until further notice.
Our first and foremost concern is the health and safety our Chapter members and other participants.

The Board and Committees weighed the circumstances and exchanged concerns about the issue. It was unanimously decided the take this action.

By postponing these face to face Committee meetings, Chapter meetings and educations sessions we hope to help reduce the spread of the virus and add to the margin of safety for all.

For anyone currently enrolled in the 12 Session Codes Class rest assured we will provide all twelve sessions, we just don’t know when.

The Board and Committees will still be working on new programs and rescheduling the postponed events. All meetings will take place via conference calls.

With respect to the overall situation, not knowing the longevity of the virus and the fact that we normally don’t meet in June, July or  August, we will be looking to the fourth quarter to resume regular Chapter activities. This is a very fluid date and subject to change.
