DHI Awards Announcement

Door & Hardware Institute/Door Security Safety Professionals Awards Announcement

We have two Chapter members who have received awards this year.

Jeff Batick DHI, EHC, DHC, DHT, CFDAI was awarded the Fellow DHI award for his outstanding and continuous contributions to the Chapter education system. Jeff is also a national instruction. A well-deserved award for a dedicated and passionate door and hardware professional!

Bert Sullivan received the Merit Award for outstanding support of the New England Chapter for well over a decade. Bert had many roles in the Chapter over the years. Currently he coordinates all the details of our in-person meetings. He and his enthusiastic attitude are an invaluable asset to the Chapter.

NE Chapter Receives Mary Roth Award

The New England Chapter has won the Mary Roth Award for Outstanding Chapter Education Programs during the past year for the 12th Time!

Despite the pandemic, , the Chapter Board , Chapter Officers and other contributors were able to use technology offer a regular schedule of educational classes for our members and non members through the year.

COVID 19

Dear New England Chapter Members & Our Valued Regional Stakeholders

Given the current reality of the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus, the New England Chapter of DHI is suspending all group activities until further notice.
Our first and foremost concern is the health and safety our Chapter members and other participants.

The Board and Committees weighed the circumstances and exchanged concerns about the issue. It was unanimously decided the take this action.

By postponing these face to face Committee meetings, Chapter meetings and educations sessions we hope to help reduce the spread of the virus and add to the margin of safety for all.

For anyone currently enrolled in the 12 Session Codes Class rest assured we will provide all twelve sessions, we just don’t know when.

The Board and Committees will still be working on new programs and rescheduling th
